departmental intelligence definition

departmental intelligence means intelligence about any threat or potential threat to the national security and stability of the Republic which falls within the functions of a department of State, and includes intelligence needed by such department in order to neutralise such a threat;
departmental intelligence means information which relates to any power, duty or function concerning the security of Kenya which has been entrusted to a State Department or Agency under any law and which may be required by that State Department or Agency in the exercise of powers, duties or functions under this Act;
