Defect Notification Period definition

Defect Notification Period and substitute with: 1.1.3.7 “Defect Notification Period” or “Contractor Warranty Period” means the period for notifying defects in the Works or a Section (as the case may be) under Sub-Clause 11.1 [Completion of Outstanding Work and Remedying Defects], as stated in the Appendix to Tender (with any extension under Sub-Clause 11.3 [Extension of Defects Notification Period]), calculated from the date on which the Works or Section is completed as certified under Sub-Clause 10.1 [
Defect Notification Period means the period specified for the notification of defects established during the Works in accordance with Sub-Clause 9.1, which is specified in the Annex, which is not shorter than the minimum construction work guarantee period specified in the special construction terms and conditions.
Defect Notification Period has the meaning set forth in Section 5(2).

All Claims postmarked on or before the Claim Deadline shall be timely, and all Claims postmarked after the Claim Deadline shall be untimely and barred from entitlement to any Claim Settlement Payment.
