Deconfliction definition

Deconfliction is a process whereby law enforcement can submit Investigative information to each other and/or to ICAC-related databases in order to determine whether other Members or other law enforcement agencies have information concerning the same targets or Crimes.
Deconfliction means to adjust or coordinate to prevent harm to the general public when law enforcement personnel are conducting events such as raids, undercover operations, or surveillance. Rocky Mountain HIDTA participating agencies must coordinate with others to ensure the safety of task force personnel and the surrounding public. Reference Appendix A for additional definitions of common technical terms used in this report.
