Decompiling definition

Decompiling is defined as taking machine or source code for a computer program and converting it to a higher-level programming language so that it can be read by a human. “Reverse engineering” is defined as attempting through analysis of Products or component parts thereof to determine their functionality and thereby gain the ability to alter or reproduce that functionality.

  • Decompiling, disassembling or otherwise converting the software back to a universally readable form, either wholly or in part, is expressly prohibited.
