Decent work means work that respects fundamental human rights and health, safety and the environment in the workplace, and provides a living wage, cf. Section 3 (e) of the Committee’s bill. According to the Committee’s commentary to the provision, the definition of “decent work” corresponds to fundamental rights at work as they are expressed in the frameworks re- ferred to above in the definition of “fundamental human rights”, the Decent Work Agenda of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and UN Sustainable Development Goal no. 8.
