Dead Time definition

Dead Time means the period of time from the date a parole violation warrant is issued to the date a violator is arrested on the warrant and the determination whether this time should be counted as time under the term. This also includes time served in another state for a crime committed on parole.

Examples of Dead Time in a sentence

  • Dead Time - If the member's regular shift ends less than eight hours prior to any schedule court appearance that time shall be considered dead time.

  • Grand Jury 1100 - 1200 hours Traffic Court 1300 - 1310 hours Compensation: Pay - Dead Time = 2 hrs.

  • However, when possible, the director should be notified of and approve new/non-traditional Dead Time activity requests beforehand; this is best done through email.

  • Note that there must be tangible evidence of these activities attached to your Dead Time Sheet (for example, printouts of e-mails sent, written summaries of concepts learned, handouts you created, etc.); it is not enough to merely write “Dead Time” on your timesheet.

Related to Dead Time

  • Lead Time means the quoted timeframe calculated between the date of receipt of the PO by Supplier and the Delivery Date.

  • Minimum Order Quantity means the minimum number of batches of a Product to be produced during the same cycle of manufacturing as set forth in a Product Agreement on Schedule B;

  • flight time means, for aeroplanes and touring motor gliders, the time between an aircraft first moving from its parking place for the purpose of taking off until it comes to rest on the designated parking position and all engines or propellers are shut down;

  • Proposal Due Date and Time means the date and time specified in the Request for Proposal as the deadline for submitting Proposals.

  • Delivery Schedule means that attribute of the Statement of Work setting forth the completion date of each Milestone and the delivery date for each Deliverable.
