D&C Work definition

D&C Work means the Design Work and the Construction Work. "Defect" means any defect in any of the D&C Work attributable to:
D&C Work means the Design Work and the Construction Work.
D&C Work shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5(b)(1).

Examples of D&C Work in a sentence

  • No such information is required, however, for other identified Subcontractors that have a contract price, per Subcontractor, less than 1% of the total D&C Price (if performing D&C Work) or less than 1% of the total Maintenance Price (if performing Maintenance Services).

  • The commitment may be for either (a) a Payment Bond securing Developer’s payment obligations under the PPA Documents respecting the D&C Work, or (b) multiple Payment Bonds (i) from the Design-Build Contractor and (ii) from any other prime Contractor performing D&C Work, so that each such Payment Bond is security for payment to subcontractors and laborers under its Contract.

  • The commitment may be for either (a) a letter of credit securing Developer’s performance obligations under the PPA Documents respecting the D&C Work, or (b) multiple letters of credit (i) from the Design-Build Contractor and (ii) from any other prime Contractor performing D&C Work, so that each such letter of credit is security for performance of the respective Person’s obligations under its Contract.

  • The D&C Work shall include the development, design and construction of 12 the Project, conforming to the Basic Configuration and otherwise complying with the 13 requirements of the Contract Documents, except as otherwise approved by ADOT in its 14 sole discretion.

  • Developer shall plan, schedule, and execute all 18 aspects of the D&C Work and shall coordinate its activities with all Persons who are 19 directly impacted by the D&C Work.

  • The Development Entity shall perform the D&C Work in accordance with (i) Good Industry Practice, (ii) the requirements, terms and conditions set out in the Project Documents, (iii) all Applicable Laws, and (iv) the requirements, terms and conditions set out in all Governmental Approvals.

  • Subject to the terms of Article 14, the cost of all 20 D&C Work, including such materials, services and efforts as are necessary for the D&C 21 Work, are included in the D&C Price.


More Definitions of D&C Work

D&C Work means the design and construction work required for the Project. “DB Law” has the meaning given to it in the Executive Summary.
D&C Work means the design and construction Work required for any Project Segment.
D&C Work means the Design Work and Construction Work, including those obligations of Concessionaire identified in Section 3 of the Technical Requirements.
D&C Work means that portion of the Work directly attributed to the work required by the contract documents, identified through negotiations between the parties and finally determined upon execution of the GMP Amendment. (“GC Work”) shall mean that portion of the Work required to support construction operations, identified through negotiations between the parties and finally determined upon execution of the GMP Amendment. The cost of the GC Work shall be considered a Cost of the Work, but shall be fixed as a lump sum amount (the “Fixed Lump Sum GC Amount”) at the time of the GMP Amendment. The Fixed Lump Sum GC Amount shall be paid to CM/GC as a percentage of Work completed with each application for payment based on the actual Cost of the Work included in that application for payment.
D&C Work means the Design Work, the Construction Work and the Demolition Work.

Related to D&C Work

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Public work means public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.26) and which is subject to the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). Public work shall not include the provision of goods or products.

  • Construction Work means any work in connection with⎯

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.

  • Construction Phase Services means the coordination, implementation and execution of the Work required by this Agreement, which are further defined in Article 8.

  • The Work means each and every activity required for the successful performance of the services described in Section II, the Terms of Reference.

  • DAY WORK means on item of work requiring the employment of labour with or without materials as the case may be, which, in the opinion of the Senior Engineer /Civil-in-charge, is not capable of being evaluated by the accepted methods of measurement or assessment and is paid for on the basis of the actual labour and materials utilised on the particular item of work referred to.
