DC Fast Charging definition

DC Fast Charging means a method of quickly charging certain electric vehicles with a high power direct current (DC) charging source.
DC Fast Charging means a direct current (DC) rapid charging standard which provides energy directly to an electric vehicle battery. The minimum requirement to be considered a DC fast charger is 50kW.
DC Fast Charging means high power charging 400-800 volt, 150-600 amps, and 3 phase.

  • ChargePoint Express Plus: Distributed DC Fast Charging from 200 to 350kW across up to 8 charging dispensers.
