Day care program definition
Day care program means comprehensive coordinated sets of services to the individual with a developmental disability in order to promote maturation and social development and skills in the areas of daily and community living and to provide an opportunity for the productive, constructive use of time. Day ser- vices programs are offered on a continuous basis for a routinely scheduled portion of a 24 hour day, in a non−residential setting.
Day care program means a program established and pro- vided by a school board under s. 120.13 (14) or purchased by a school board from a provider licensed under s. 48.65, which com- bines care for a child who resides with a student parent who is a parent of that child with parenting education and experience for that student parent.
Day care program means those which provide day service for development in self-help, social, recreational and work skills for people with intellectual and other disabilities, giving priority to providing services for young people with severe intellectual and other disabilities.
