Data signalling rate definition

Data signalling rate means the rate, as defined in ITU Recommendation 53-36, taking into account that, for non-binary modulation, baud and bit per second are not equal. Bits for coding, checking and synchronization functions are to be included.
Data signalling rate means the passage of information per unit of time and is expressed in bits/second and is given by the formula:
Data signalling rate means the rate, as defined in International Telecommunications Union Recommendation 53-36, taking into account that, for non-binary modulation, baudand bit per second are not equal.

More Definitions of Data signalling rate

Data signalling rate means data signalling rate refers to the passage of information per unit of time, and is expressed in bits/second. Data signalling rate is given by the formula: where m is the number of parallel channels, Ti is the minimum interval for the ith channel expressed in seconds, ni is the number of significant conditions of the modulation in the ith channel;
Data signalling rate means data signalling rate refers to the passage of information per unit of time, and is expressed in bits/second. Data signalling rate is given by the formula:
Data signalling rate means the maximum one-way rate, i.e., the maximum rate in either transmission or reception, whichever is the greater, as defined in ITU Recommendation 53-36, taking into account that, for non-binary modulation, baud and bit per second are not equal; binary digits for coding, checking and synchronisation functions are included;
Data signalling rate means the rate, as defined in ITU Recommendation 53‑36, taking into account that, for non‑binary modulation, baud and bit per second are not equal. Bits for coding, checking and synchronization functions are to be included.
