Data Condition definition

Data Condition means the rule describing the circumstances under which a Covered Entity must use a particular Data Element or Segment.
Data Condition has the same meaning as defined in 45 CFR 162.103.

Examples of Data Condition in a sentence

  • The Service Company will not (i) change the definition, Data Condition or use of a Data Element or Segment in a Standard (ii) add any Data Elements or Segments to the maximum defined Data Set, (iii) use any code or Data Elements that are either marked “not used” in the Standard’s Implementation Specification or are not in the Standard’s Implementation Specification(s) or (iv) change the meaning or intent of the Standard’s Implementation Specification(s).

  • AASM shall not take any of the following actions: change the definition, Data Condition, or use of a Data Element or Segment in a Standard; add any Data Elements or Segments to the maximum defined Data Set; use any code or Data Elements that are either marked “not used” in the Standard’s Implementation Specification or are not in the Standard’s Implementation Specification(s); or change the meaning or intent of the Standard’s Implementation Specification(s).
