Damp Mopping definition

Damp Mopping. A satisfactorily damp mopped floor shall be free of dirt, dust, marks, film, streaks, debris, and standing water. Contractor must provide a sufficient number of barricades, traffic cones, and proper slip hazard signs for each floor area being cleaned to adequately protect people at the work location.
Damp Mopping. Cleaning floor surfaces after sweeping and dust mopping to pick up any remaining dust or dirt, utilizing a clean mop, clean water, all-purpose floor cleaner (and a disinfectant where required by the scope of work) with a dry-wrung out mop.
