DA Student definition

DA Student means a student who is admitted directly to second year of the B. Tech degree programme after completion of the Diploma and registered for U. G. fulltime programme leading to B. Tech Degree.

  • At-risk student means any identified student who needs additional support and who is not meeting or not expected to meet the established goals of the educational program (academic, personal/social, career/vocational). At-risk students include but are not limited to students in the following groups: homeless children and youth, dropouts, returning dropouts, and potential dropouts.

  • Dependant student means a dependant person who is 21 years or over and:

  • Part-time student means an individual who is enrolled at an accredited private institution or board of regents university in a course of study including at least three semester hours or the trimester or quarter equivalent of three semester hours.
