CuraGen Databases definition

CuraGen Databases means, collectively, all data, information and materials (other than Research Program Technology and Information) related to human Genetic Materials and the expression products thereof which as of the Effective Date are contained in CuraGen’s SeqCalling Database or which at any time during the term of this Agreement are added thereto. For purposes hereof, the CuraGen SeqCalling Database shall include without limitation the following data, information, and materials possessed, acquired or developed by CuraGen as of the Effective Date or at any time during the term of this Agreement, the acquisition or development of which has not been sponsored or directed by a commercial Third Party to whom rights in such data, information, and materials have been granted in advance (without breaching the exclusivity obligations of this Agreement): (i) xxxxxxxx xxxx with respect to human Genetic Materials (including expressed sequences) and expression products thereof; (ii) the tissue or cellular distribution relating to such Genetic Materials, their expression and expression products; (iii) literature publications and patent status (i.e., information related to CuraGen filing dates, priority of claim(s) and any related patents and patent applications, and any information known by CuraGen regarding Third Party patents and patent applications) related to such Genetic Materials and expression products; (iv) the biological function of such Genetic Materials and expression products; (v) clones, expression products, proteins, cell lines and vectors related to such Genetic Materials and expression products, and (vi) all of the data, information, and materials described in the foregoing clauses (i) to (v) with respect to any homologs of such Genetic Materials and expression products. As of the Effective Date, the CuraGen SeqCalling Database includes at least [************************************].

Examples of CuraGen Databases in a sentence

  • During the term of the Research Program, CuraGen shall have primary responsibility for the screening of the CuraGen Databases and shall conduct searches thereof to identify and recommend to the JMC potential antigens of interest hereunder.

  • In addition, CuraGen will use its best efforts to recommend to the JMC antigens that would have an IP Score (as defined below) of 1, 2, or 3 and not 4 or 5 in a sufficient number to allow selection of at least [*****] Priority Research Antigens per year from the CuraGen Databases.

  • CuraGen shall update the CuraGen Databases at least once every month to incorporate (i) the data, information and materials generated by the foregoing efforts that have not been sponsored or directed by a commercial Third Party to whom rights in such data, information, and materials have been granted prior to November 27, 2000, and (ii) those publicly available ESTs that CuraGen determines in its prudent judgment have sufficient reliability.

  • CuraGen shall update the CuraGen Databases at least once every month to incorporate (i) the data, information and materials generated by the foregoing efforts that have not been sponsored or directed by a commercial Third Party to whom rights in such data, information, and materials have been granted in advance and (ii) those publicly available ESTs that CuraGen determines in its prudent judgment have sufficient reliability.

Related to CuraGen Databases

  • Databases means databases and other compilations and collections of data or information.

  • Product Data are illustrations, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, and other information furnished by the Contractor to illustrate materials or equipment for some portion of the Work.

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Database means the Commercial Driver Alcohol and Drug Testing Database of the Office of Driver Services of the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

  • Client Data means personal data of data subjects, such as your employees, associates or partners, that is provided to S&P Global Ratings during the provision by S&P Global Ratings of the Services to you, such as name, job title, name of employer, office email address, office physical address, internet protocol address, office telephone number and language selection (and excludes special categories of personal data);

  • Licensee Data means, other than Resultant Data, information, data and other content, in any form or medium, that is collected, downloaded or otherwise received, directly or indirectly from Licensee or an Authorized User by or through the Services.

  • Computer database or “database” means a collection of recorded information in a form capable of, and for the purpose of, being stored in, processed, and operated on by a computer. The term does not include computer software.

  • End User Data means any information or data of any kind that personally identifies (or that can be used, together with other information or data, to personally identify) an End User.

  • User Data means any Personal Data or other data or information collected by or on behalf of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries from users of any Company Product or website of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Patient Data means any electronic data, information or material about a Patient entered into the Software.

  • Development Data means all non-clinical, clinical, technical, chemical, safety, and scientific data and information and other results, including relevant laboratory notebook information, screening data, and synthesis schemes, including descriptions in any form, data and other information, in each case, that is generated by or resulting from or in connection with the conduct of Development of Products, to the extent that the same are Controlled by or in Adapt’s or its Affiliates’ or Adapt’s Commercial Sublicensees’ possession, and may be disclosed to Lightlake without violating any obligation under Applicable Law.

  • Data means all results, technical information and materials developed and/or obtained in the performance of the Services hereunder, including but not limited to all reports, survey and evaluation tools, surveys and evaluations, plans, charts, recordings (video and/or sound), pictures, curricula, electronically prepared presentations, public awareness or prevention campaign materials, drawings, analyses, graphic representations, computer programs and printouts, notes and memoranda, and documents, whether finished or unfinished, which result from or are prepared in connection with the Services performed hereunder.

  • UNICEF Data means any and all information or data in digital form or processed or held in digital form that

  • Firmware means software sold or licensed only in conjunction with machines, designed for execution only on a machine with which it is provided, designed only for machines other than a dedicated computer, and embedded into or installed on the machine by the machine’s manufacturer or seller.

  • Teacher Data is defined as at least the following: Social security number. Date of birth. Personal street address. Personal email address. Personal telephone number Performance evaluations. Other information that, alone or in combination, is linked or linkable to a specific teacher, paraprofessional, principal, or administrator that would allow a reasonable person in the school community, who does not have personal knowledge of the relevant circumstances, to identify any with reasonable certainty. Information requested by a person who the department reasonably believes or knows the identity of the teacher, paraprofessional, principal, or administrator to whom the education record relates.

  • Research record means any data, document, computer file, computer diskette, or any other written or non-written account or object that reasonably may be expected to provide evidence or information regarding the proposed, conducted, or reported research that constitutes the subject of an allegation of research misconduct. A research record includes, but is not limited to, grant or contract applications, whether funded or unfunded; grant or contract progress and other reports; laboratory notebooks; notes; correspondence; videos; photographs; X-ray film; slides; biological materials; computer files and printouts; manuscripts and publications; equipment use logs; laboratory procurement records; animal facility records; human and animal subject protocols; consent forms; medical charts; and patient research files.

  • Interfaces means, collectively, the CAD Interface and the Channel Access Interface.

  • Study Data shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.1.

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Customer Data means any content, materials, data and information that Authorized Users enter into the production system of a Cloud Service or that Customer derives from its use of and stores in the Cloud Service (e.g. Customer-specific reports). Customer Data and its derivatives will not include SAP’s Confidential Information.

  • GLO Data means any data or information owned by the GLO, including PII or SPI as defined below, that Provider creates, obtains, accesses (via records, systems, or otherwise), receives (from the GLO or on behalf of the GLO), or uses in the performance of the Contract or any documents related thereto.

  • Pseudonymous data means personal data that cannot be attributed to a specific natural person

  • Research Results means any technical result acquired based on the Collaborative Research, including, but not limited to, any invention, idea, design, copyrightable work and know-how which relates to the purpose of the Collaborative Research.

  • APIs means SAP application programming interface and accompanying or related Documentation, source code, tools, executable applications, libraries, subroutines, widgets and other materials made available by SAP or through SAP tools or SAP Software Development Kit (and all derivative works or modifications thereof) to Provider that allow Provider to integrate the Provider Service with the Cloud Service, including any access code, authentication keys or similar mechanisms to enable access of the APIs.

  • input data means data provided to or directly acquired by an AI system on the basis of which the system produces an output;

  • Source Code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making modifications to it. “Object code” means any non-source form of a work.
