Cumulative Update definition

Cumulative Update is an update or modifica- tion to the Software that may include Hotfixes and may also include performance improve- ments, Compatibility Updates, and other en- hancements, but that does not include new op- tions or feature additions to the Software. A “Compatibility Update” updates or modifies the compatibility of the Software with underlying op- erating systems and required components. Com- patibility Updates do not include updates or modifications that add support for the Software to act upon a new system, platform, or applica- tion. A release that is considered a Cumulative Update shall be so indicated by an increase or change in the n3 portion of the Standard Num- bering Convention. « Correctif », « Mise à jour Cumulative », « Service Pack », et « Mises à Niveau de la Plateforme », comme décrit ci-des- sous. a) Un « Correctif » est une mise à jour ou une modifica- tion du Logiciel conçue pour traiter un problème spé- cifique identifié dans l’installation, la configuration ou le fonctionnement du Logiciel.
