  • The Recipient and CTEVT shall ensure that the Project does not involve any environmental, resettlement, indigenous peoples risks or impacts within the meaning of the Safeguard Policy Statement.

  • If due to unforeseen circumstances, the Project involves any such impacts, the Recipient and CTEVT shall take all steps necessary or desirable to ensure that the Project complies with all applicable laws and regulations of the Recipient and with the Safeguard Policy Statement.

  • The Recipient shall take all actions which shall be necessary on its part to enable CTEVT to perform its obligations under the Project Agreement, and shall not take or permit any action which would interfere with the performance of such obligations.

  • In respect of Parts 1, 2, 3(iv), and 4, the Recipient hereby designates CTEVT as its agent for the purposes of taking any action or entering into any agreement required or permitted under Sections 3.02, 3.03 and 3.05 of this Grant Agreement and under Sections 5.01, 5.02, 5.03 and 5.04 of the Grant Regulations.

  • The Recipient and CTEVT shall allow and assist ADB's representatives to carry out random spot checks on the work in progress and utilization of funds for the Project.
