Cryptosystem means a system that transforms or encrypts information for the purpose of secrecy
Cryptosystem often means any cryptographic system, sometimes secrecy system. "Encryption scheme" normally means secrecy system, sometimes any cryptographic system. One should not be confused by the fact that basic functions like RSA and DES can serve for both secrecy and authentication: For the two cases, they must be employed in different ways.)
