Crown road definition

Crown road means a Crown road as defined in the NisÞa’a Treaty;
Crown road means a road or highway, including the Road Allowance, that is on federal or provincial Crown land or that is on Lheidli T’enneh Lands that have been acquired or expropriated for highway purposes under the Transportation Act;
Crown road means a public road that is declared to be a Crown road for the purposes of the Roads Act 1993.

  • In accordance with section 152H of that Act, the road comprised therein has ceased to be a Crown road and the rights of passage and access that previously existed in relation to the road are extinguished.
