Crimping. Crimping of terminal lugs shall be so accomplished that the connections will meet the resistance (voltage drop) and tensile strength requirements and tests of MIL-T-7928 - Crimp, Insulated and Noninsulated.
Crimping. In lieu of grout filling, abandonment by crimping shall be permitted for smaller diameter metallic pipes, generally 4” diameter and smaller, that are not under pressure. Crimps shall be made with an approved mechanical crimping device at specific points as directed by the Engineer.
