Crimes Act definition

Crimes Act means the Crimes Act, 1900 of the State of New South Wales in its application to the Territory;

  • The Crown may take action against you or prosecute you for offences under the Crimes Act 1961.

  • Some examples where Inland Revenue will consider removing a tax agent include2: • poor compliance history including personal debt and outstanding returns • poor filing performance • found guilty of a dishonesty crime under the Crimes Act • found guilty of an offence or breach by their professional body • convicted of an offence under the Tax Administration Act.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that the aforementioned deposit does not constitute payment with respect to 3 months' rent.
