The main objective of CRASA is to bring coperative and collaboration of ICT and postal regulators to harmonise the regulation of the three (3) sectors.
Any communications and media releases issued in respect of activities undertaken under this MoU, and which reference both CRASA and the LINK Centre, will be approved by both Parties in writing.
The Parties shall enter into a separate contract where there are any financial transactions between WITS and CRASA.

The purpose of this MoU is to define the areas of mutual cooperation between CRASA and WITS (through the LINK Centre) in the development, marketing and administration of capacity building programmes for the benefit of CRASA Members and other identified beneficiaries within and outside the SADC region; and The MoU sets forth the common understanding, objectives and intentions of CRASA and WITS.
WITS’s responsibilities shall be to: Design and revise annually the curricula for the four (4) certificates offered by the LINK Centre, based on: regular review of global trends in the applicable fields of knowledge; engagement with the scholarly writing in the applicable fields of knowledge; engagement with and feedback from course participants; guidance from CRASA, any CRASA Member NRAs, and other relevant stakeholders.
The Wits University intellectual property (IP) policy applies for all courses designed by WITS and the CRASA IP policy applies for all courses designed by CRASA or its member regulators.
Should CRASA or any of its member regulators design a short course for delivery through Wits University and/or WITS, then the originator owns the IP and will make it available on an open access basis, under a Creative Commons attribution, share-alike, non-commercial licence.
Information (whether recorded in documentary form or stored on any magnetic or optical disk or memory) relating to CRASA’s business, operations, affairs and finances for the time being confidential to CRASA and trade secrets including, without limitation, technical data and know-how relating to CRASA’s business or any of CRASA’s business contacts, including in particular (by way of illustration only and without limitation) its Members and Partners.
