  • During normal days and hours of operation, whenever immediate action is required to prevent impending injury, death or property damage to the facilities being maintained, the County may, after a reasonable attempt to notify the Contractor, cause such action to be taken by the County work force and shall charge the cost thereof as determined by the Director, against the Contractor, or may deduct such cost from an amount due to the Contractor from the County.

  • Work means all Services to be performed, goods to be delivered, and any appurtenant actions performed, and items produced, conceived, or developed, including Deliverables.

  • Contract Work means everything required to be furnished and done by the Contractor by any one or more of the parts of the Contract referred to in Article 1, except Extra Work as hereinafter defined.
