Council Functions means the functions specified in Regulation 6(a) of the Partnership Regulations for the provision of social services to the Client Groups in respect of their learning disability and mental health needs. This is subject to the exclusions listed in Regulation 6(a)(i) to (vi) of the Partnership Regulations together with such exclusions and additions as are specified in Clause 7.4.

• Set out below is the list of functions that must be delegated by the Council to the Integration Joint Board as required by the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Prescribed Council Functions etc.) (Scotland) Regulations 2014.

• It delegates to the Council those CCG Functions if any  As indicated in the relevant Work Order  To the extent those delegations are reasonably necessary to enable the Council to perform its obligations under that Call-off Partnership The Council  Accepts that delegation; and  On such acceptance, agrees to exercise those CCG Functions in conjunction with the Council’s Council Functions.

• The Trust will undertake the provision of the agreed aspects of these Central Support Services necessary to facilitate the effective delivery of the Council Functions.

• The Partners agree that the Council shall act as Lead Commissioner to commission both health and social care in exercise of the Council Functions and NHS Functions in respect of AdLD, and that in respect of the exercise by the Council of the role of Lead Commissioner, the provisions of this Clause 6 will have effect.

• FUNCTIONS For the purposes of the implementation of the Partnership Arrangements, the NHS Devon (Integrated Care Board)hereby delegates the exercise of the NHS Functions to the Council to exercise alongside the Council Functions and act as lead commissioner of the Services.

• With the intention of providing an integrated mental health service for adults and older people in Coventry, the Partners have agreed to enter into arrangements under Section 75 of the 2006 Act for or in connection with the delivery by the Trust on behalf of the Council of the Council Functions in conjunction with the exercise by the Trust of the NHS Functions on the terms of this Agreement.

More Definitions of Council Functions

Council Functions means the Council Commissioning Functions and the Council Provider Functions.
