A benefit payable by a Party by virtue of this Agreement or under its laws shall be paid by that Party without the deduction of administrative fees and charges by the government or the corresponding Competent Authority for processing and paying that benefit, when the person qualifying for the benefit is in the territory of the other Party.
Any claim, declaration or appeal which should have been submitted, in order to comply with the legislation of a Contracting Party, within a specified period to a Competent Authority, Competent Institution or the liaison agency of that Contracting Party shall be admissible if it is submitted within the same period to a corresponding Competent Authority, Competent Institution or the liaison agency of the other Contracting Party.
The information exchanges above shall be without prejudice to the inspection programs being the sole responsibility of the corresponding Competent Authority.
