CORF refers to “comprehensive rehabilitation facility” as addressed by § 1861(cc) of the Social Security Act/ 42 U.S.C. § 1395x(cc)

  • If the witness test is not satisfactory in the sole judgment of the Department, the Department has the right to disconnect the CORF.

  • Section 1861(u) of the Act defines a “provider of services” to include a hospital, critical access hospital (CAH), skilled nursing facility (SNF), comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facility (CORF), home health agency (HHA), or hospice program.

  • The Company owns a certified outpatient rehabilitation facility (the "CORF").

  • CMSF shall, at all times, act as an independent contractor with respect to the Company and not as an agent of the CORF or the Company, and nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to create a joint relationship between CMSF and the Company or the CORF.
