Core Research definition

Core Research means research and research related activities that are: (a) conducted by a Member and (b) financially supported by the CENTER.
Core Research as used herein means research that the Executive Committee (as defined below) determines shall be: (a) conducted through the Center by faculty, students and staff from Core Institution Members, and (b) financially supported by funds from NSF ERC program, Core Institution Members via cost sharing, and from Membership Fees.
Core Research means research that is: (a) conducted through the CENTER by CENTER faculty, students and staff from LEAD UNIVERSITY and/or CORE PARTNER UNIVERSITIES, and (b) financially supported by funds from NSF, Core Academic Members, membership fees and other sources.

  • ID’s for access to Vendor Core Research and Analyst Inquiry may not be shared.

  • The Visitor shall have access to the subject Core Research Facilities during normal UMass business hours.

  • The Parties will establish a joint research committee (the “Neurology JRC”) reporting to the CSC, to provide advice and make recommendations on the conduct of activities under the Core Research Program, Neurological Disease Research Program and each Collaboration Program up to Development Candidate designation.

Related to Core Research

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Basic research means any original investigation for the advancement of scientific or technological knowledge that will enhance the research capacity of this state in a way that increases the ability to attract to or develop companies, jobs, researchers, or students in this state.

  • Research means a methodical investigation into a subject.

  • Public research university means Rutgers, The State University

  • Research Program Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.
