CONVEX definition

CONVEX means The Connecticut Valley Electric Exchange. CONVEX is a Local Control Center (as defined in the ISO-NE Tariff) and performs certain functions regarding the operation of the electric transmission system and dispatch of generation in the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in accordance with the ISO-NE Tariff and the TOA.
CONVEX means the Connecticut Valley Electric Exchange or any successor organization which operates as a satellite to or the ISO.
CONVEX has the meaning set forth in the Recitals.

  • Those control centers now in existence (including the CONVEX, REMVEC, Maine and New Hampshire control centers) or established by the PTOs in accordance with Section 3.06(a) of this Agreement that are separate from the ISO Control Center and perform certain functions in accordance with this Agreement.

  • Copies of the effective CONVEX Operating Instructions for each such station are attached hereto as Exhibit E.

  • Buyer acknowledges that CONVEX and the ISO may have the right to require reduced or increased generation from the Acquired Assets in accordance with the NEPOOL Tariff and applicable rules of NEPOOL and the ISO.

  • Buyer shall carry out all switching orders from Seller's dispatch personnel, the ISO, or CONVEX issued pursuant to the CONVEX Operating Instructions in a reasonably timely manner.

  • Buyer and Seller shall share equally the cost of telephone lines used by both Parties to transmit the status of generation and transmission operations to CONVEX.
