Convention Period definition

Convention Period means the period beginning 12:01 a.m. Local Time (as defined below) on Saturday, September 1, 2012, through and including 8:00 a.m. Local Time on Friday, September 7, 2012.
Convention Period means the period beginning at 12:01 a.m. on the day that is twelve (12) days prior to the opening session of the Convention and extending through 12:00 midnight on the eighth (8th) day following the last session of the Convention, which such period will be determined by the RNC on or before January 1, 2023 (or such later date as mutually agreed to by Metro and the RNC in writing) and be in one of the three following slots: either (i) beginning at 12:01 a.m. Local Time on June 24, 2024, or later and ending at 11:59 p.m. Local Time on July 26, 2024; or (ii) beginning at 12:01 a.m. Local Time on July 29, 2024, or later and ending at 11:59 p.m. Local Time on August 30, 2024; or (iii) beginning at 12:01 a.m. Local Time on August 5, 2024, or later and ending at 11:59 p.m. Local Time on September 6, 2024. Upon notice by the RNC on or before December 1, 2023, the Convention Period may begin up to seven (7) days before or after the start date set forth in this definition, provided that the duration of the Convention Period shall not exceed [fourteen (14)] days unless extended pursuant to Section 2.2(b).
Convention Period means the period beginning on the first day of a national political convention held in Milwaukee in the summer of 2024 until the day after the convention’s last day.

Examples of Convention Period in a sentence

  • The Host Committee shall provide up to three hundred fifty (350) passes, for local subway and bus transportation, for use by DNCC staff, during the period beginning on the 60th day prior to the Convention Period through and including the last day of the Convention Period.

  • During the Convention Period and at other times as may be set forth in the Security Plan, the City shall provide fire fighting and emergency medical services as reasonably necessary.

  • In the event that it is determined by an agency or court of competent jurisdiction, prior to or during the Convention Period, that any modification or alteration to any of the Convention Facilities must be made to meet such requirements, the Host Committee shall be responsible for procuring such modification or alteration at its sole expense.

  • The Host Committee shall provide RF Frequency coordination as requested by the DNCC and other meeting specifications to be established by the DNCC, including RF Frequency as may be necessary and utilized by media organizations during the Convention Period.

  • The Host Committee shall provide satellite and cable television facilities and services during the Convention Period, including the provision of an in-house feed of the Convention floor inside the Convention Hall.

  • The Host Committee Budget also does not include expenses for events not covered in the Host Committee Budget (such as a community service project to be conducted during the Convention Period), nor does it include amounts for certain hospitality events and activities that may be sponsored by the Host Committee or another entity.

  • During the Convention Period and at other times as may be set forth in the Security Plan, the City shall restrict to exclusive use of the DNCC and such other persons as the DNCC alone may authorize, such streets and sidewalks as may be designated in the Security Plan for purposes of protecting public safety and facilitating transportation flow.


More Definitions of Convention Period

Convention Period means the period beginning 12:01 a.m. Local Time (as defined below) on the day that is six (6) days prior to the opening session of the Convention and extending through 12:00 midnight Local Time on the sixth (6th) day following the last session of the Convention, which such period will be determined by the RNC on or before December 31, 2022 (or such later date as mutually agreed to by the City and the RNC in writing) and be in one of the three following slots: either (i) beginning at 12:01 a.m. Local Time on July 9, 2024, or later and ending at 11:59 p.m. Local Time on July 25, 2024; or (ii) beginning at 12:01 a.m. Local Time on August 13, 2024, or later and ending at 11:59 p.m. Local Time on August 29, 2024; or
Convention Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2 hereof.
Convention Period shall, for purposes of this City Service Agreement, mean and include each day or portion thereof of such extension; provided, however, that the Convention Period shall not include any period of time beyond 11:59 p.m. eastern time on September 7, 2012. All time references in this City Service Agreement shall refer to such time in the City.

  • Retention Period has the meaning set forth in Section 6.02.

  • Transition Period means the period beginning with the Registration Date and ending as of the earlier of: (i) the date of the first annual meeting of stockholders of the Company at which directors are to be elected that occurs after the close of the third calendar year following the calendar year in which the Registration Date occurs; and (ii) the expiration of the “reliance period” under Treasury Regulation Section 1.162-27(f)(2).

  • Termination Period means the period of time beginning with a Change in Control and ending on the earlier to occur of:

  • Elimination Period means the period of 6 months beginning on the date You become Disabled.

  • Notification Period has the meaning given to such term in Clause 3.10(b) or 3.10(c) of the Gold Bullion Terms, as the case may be.
