Examples of Convention countries in a sentence
This Order provides (in Division 2) for service in overseas Convention countries of local judicial documents (documents that relate to proceedings in the Court) and (in Division 3) for default judgment in proceedings in the Court after service overseas of such a document.
The Attorney‑General’s Department of the Commonwealth maintains a copy of the Convention, a list of all Convention countries, details of declarations and objections made under the Convention by each of those countries and the names and addresses of the Central and other authorities of each of those countries.
Division 4, on the other hand, deals with service by the Court or arranged by the Court in its role as an other or additional authority, of judicial documents emanating from overseas Convention countries.
If 2 or more basic applications for protection in respect of inventions have been made in one or more Convention countries, one Convention application may be made within the prescribed period by a Convention applicant in relation to those basic applications, or by 2 or more such entitled applicants jointly, in respect of the inventions disclosed in the basic applications.
Where all the rights of each of two or more applicants referred to in subsection (1) who have made application for protection of inventions in any one or more Convention countries have become vested in the same person, those applications shall, for the purposes of subsection (4) of section eight, be deemed to have been made by the same applicant.
Countries that are party to the Hague Convention on Legalization of Foreign Documents require an “apostille;” non-Hague Convention countries get an authentication certificate that is usually sent to the U.S. Department of State for further authentication.

The Convention and the IAA do not prohibit contributions to support family and child protection services in Convention countries.
Under Article 15 of the Convention, countries providing genetic resources should benefit from commercialisation of their genetic resources, including a fair share of the profits generated, as well as non-monetary benefits, such as technology and the opportunity to participate in research.
In accordance with the Highlands Act, grant funding is available to support the reasonable expenses associated with this work.
