Contractor Well definition

Contractor Well means any well that the Contractor has either drilled or used in the Field for any purpose during the term of this Contract.
Contractor Well means any well that the Contractors have either drilled or used in the Area for any purpose during the term of this Agreement. Any production or injection well that is used for commercial production in the Area as of the Takeover Date will be conclusively considered a "Contractor Well".

Examples of Contractor Well in a sentence

  • A well shall cease to be a Contractor Well as provided in Clause 16.2.

  • The term of this Contract shall begin on the Effective Date and, subject to the terms of Clauses 15.3 and 15.4, terminate eight (8) years from the date of the first Incremental Production from the final Contractor Well.

  • If the Operator proposes to plug any Contractor Well and remove any related facilities, equipment and other assets, the Operator shall prepare and deliver to the Affiliate, no later than 30 days prior to the proposed commencement of the relevant operations, a report as to the abandonment of such Contractor Well, including the costs of such abandonment.

  • The Affiliate shall have the right to require a review of any such report by an independent expert appointed pursuant to Clause 23.3, and the determination by the expert as to whether the standards for abandonment of such Contractor Well are satisfied shall be final and binding.

  • In the event that the Affiliate disputes whether such Contractor Well is capable of commercial production or useful for further exploration or appraisal, the Operator shall not plug such Contractor Well or remove such facilities, equipment and other assets, pending the resolution of the dispute.
