Contractor Release definition

Contractor Release means a Release of a Hazardous Substance (including, without limitation, Hazardous Substances that were on or in City’s property at commencement of the Work) arising from acts or omissions of Contractor or any Subcontractor or Sub-subcontractor or their employees or workers. However, Contractor Release does not include Releases of pre-existing Hazardous Substances on City’s property of which City had not made Contractor aware and as to which Contractor, Subcontractors and Sub-subcontractors acted reasonably.

Related to Contractor Release

  • Minor Release means a minor update or upgrade to the Software (including service releases or bug fixes), identified by Bosch by a change in the second or following digit in the release number (e.g. change from version 2.1 to 2.2 or 2.2.1 to 2.2.2.).

  • Major Release means a major update or upgrade to the Software, which includes significant enhancements and/or a major redesign of the Software, identified by Bosch by a change to the first digit in the release number (e.g. change from version 2.0 to 3.0).

  • Debtor Release means the release given on behalf of the Debtors and their Estates to the Released Parties as set forth in Article VIII.D of the Plan.

  • Reporting Subcontractor means with respect to any Person, any Subcontractor for such Person that is “participating in the servicing function” within the meaning of Item 1122 of Regulation AB. References to a Reporting Subcontractor shall refer only to the Subcontractor of such Person and shall not refer to Subcontractors generally.

  • Major Subcontractor means a Subcontractor who enters into a Major Subcontract.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Contractor/Supplier means the person or company whose tender is accepted by the Purchaser and shall be deemed to include the Contractor’s successors, heirs, executors, administrators, representatives and assigns approved by the Purchaser.

  • Sub-subcontractor means a Person engaged by a Subcontractor to perform a portion of the Trade Contractor Work. The term “Sub-Subcontractor” also includes any lower tier Persons engaged by Sub-Subcontractor to perform a portion of the Trade Contractor Work.

  • Contractor Related Parties means any affliates of the Contractor and the Contractor's executive officers, Pennsylvania officers and directors, or owners of 5 percent or more interest in the Contractor.

  • Contractor System means the information and communications technology system used by the Contractor in performing the Services including the Software, the Contractor Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Authority System).

  • Contractor / Vendor means the Tenderer whose bid has been accepted and awarded Letter of Acceptance for a specific item followed by the signing of Contract.

  • Covered subcontractor means any entity that has a subcontract valued in excess of $1 million, except a subcontract for the acquisition of commercial items, including commercially available off-the-shelf items.

  • Contractor Project Manager means the employee identified in a Statement of Work as the Contractor project manager.

  • Prime Contractor as used in this clause, means a person who has entered into a prime contract with the United States.

  • Supplier/Contractor means the individual, firm or company with whom the contract has been concluded for supplying the Goods and Services under the Contract. The Supplier/Contractor shall be deemed to include its successors (approved by the purchaser), representatives, heirs, executors, administrators and permitted;

  • Contractor Representative means any of the following:

  • Contractor Personnel means Contractor’s employees and subcontractors (as well as any employees or subcontractors of those subcontractors) performing the Services.

  • Subcontractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a subcontractor.

  • Third Party Contractor as used in the Student Data Protection Act and “Operator” as used in COPPA. De-Identified Information (DII): De-Identification refers to the process by which the Contractor removes or obscures any Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) from Education Records in a way that removes or minimizes the risk of disclosure of the identity of the individual and information about them.

  • Subcontractor means any supplier, distributor, vendor, or firm that furnishes supplies or services to or for a prime contractor or another subcontractor.

  • General Contractor means a person or entity duly licensed in the state of Florida with the requisite skills, experience and credit worthiness to successfully provide the units required in the Application, and which meets the criteria described in Rule 67-48.0072, F.A.C.

  • Prime Contractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a prime Contractor.

  • EPC Contractor means Seller’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor or such Person performing those functions.

  • Request for Release A release signed by a Servicing Officer, in the form of Exhibit E attached hereto.

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.
