CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP definition

CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP. It is understood that both parties hereto are independent contractors and engaged in the operation of their own respective businesses. Neither party hereto is to be considered the agent of the other party of any purpose whatsoever, and neither party has any authority, express or implied, to enter into any contracts or assume any obligations for the other party, to pledge the credit, or make any warranties or representations on behalf of the other party except where expressly authorized in writing to do so. Nothing in this Agreement or in the activities of either party hereto shall be deemed to create an agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship.
