Contracting official definition

Contracting official or "contracting officer" means the OHCA CEO or the OHCA officer or employee to whom contracting authority has been delegated by the OHCA CEO, unless specified otherwise.
Contracting official as used in this MOU, includes contracting officers at all DHS organizational elements, whether the warrant is issued within DHS or is a carryover from the contracting official’s legacy agency.
Contracting official or “CO” means the individual authorized in writing by Amtrak to enter into, administer and make changes to the Contract and to make related determinations and findings on behalf of Amtrak. This includes a duly appointed successor or an authorized representative of the Contracting Official acting within the limits of his or her authority.
