  • The Contracting Medical Practitioner is advised to seek appropriate insurance advice.

  • The Contracting Medical Practitioner will be informed of theatre availability as soon as practicable and 3 months notice will be given if a theatre is to be electively closed or access reduced.

  • The Board will pay the Contracting Medical Practitioner for Services in accordance with clause 6.

  • The engagement of the Contracting Medical Practitioner to provide Medical Services is not an exclusive arrangement.

  • Failure to do so may expose the Contracting Medical Practitioner to risks that are not covered by the Board.

  • If an overpayment occurs, the Board will notify the Contracting Medical Practitioner and seek to agree a level and method of repayment.
