Contract for works definition

Contract for works means a contract for the provision of any works as defined in Schedule 2 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. This includes, but is not limited to, contracts for construction, site preparation, demolition, civil engineering, roofing, plumbing and electrical installation.
Contract for works means the contract between UNICEF and the Contractor for the provision of the Works.
Contract for works means the contract relating to the Project, a sample of which is included in this Request for Tenders.

  • UNICEF may also terminate the Contract at any time on immediate written notice to the Consultant if the Contract for Works terminates and/or if UNICEF’s mandate or funding applicable to the Contract is curtailed or terminated, whether in whole or in part.

  • The Consultant shall arrange and carry out within seven (7) days of an instruction from UNICEF a further Technical Inspection to determine whether or not a certificate of Substantial Completion under the Contract for Works (the "Certificate of Substantial Completion") should be issued.
