Contract for Work definition

Contract for Work has a meaning as set forth in art. 2.1 hereof.
Contract for Work means a contract for work in accordance with the Civil Code;
Contract for Work means each individual Contract for Work concluded between the Parties; i.e. confirmation of the Supplier delivered to the Customer that the Supplier accepts the Order for the price of the Work and with the delivery date of the Work specified in the Order. These Terms and Conditions are also part of the Contract for Work.

More Definitions of Contract for Work

Contract for Work means any written document of this designation, as well as any mutually confirmed proposals of the Parties complying with the essential requirements such as: the parties, subject matter of the contract, price, performance period. To avoid any doubts, an order is deemed to be such a document as well. A Contract for Work must be always in writing. This form of a legal act is required also in case of any modification or termination of the contractual relationship.
Contract for Work means for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions a contract concluded by and between JP-Automotive and the Supplier that binds the Supplier to produce the Goods for JP-Automotive and that binds JP-Automotive to pay the price for production of the Goods, unless the Contracting Parties agree otherwise.

Related to Contract for Work

  • The Work means each and every activity required for the successful performance of the services described in Section II, the Terms of Reference.

  • Contract for Goods means any contract, purchase order or agreement for the purchase of goods awarded by the city and whose cost is to be paid from funds belonging to or administered by the city; provided that a “contract” does not include: (i) a delegate agency contract; (ii) a lease of real property;

  • Extra Work means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement.   • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • General Contractor means a person or entity duly licensed in the state of Florida with the requisite skills, experience and credit worthiness to successfully provide the units required in the Application, and which meets the criteria described in Rule 67-48.0072, F.A.C.

  • Commissioning Tests means the tests performed (including any repetition thereof) during the commissioning phase, including those set forth in Section 3 of this Attachment S, to demonstrate that the applicable Equipment or system is ready for use to receive Natural Gas and produce LNG for Performance Tests.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.

  • The Contractor or Contractors means the firm, company or person engaged by the SBIIMS to carry out the work. It shall also include their legal representative(s), successors or assigns.
