Continuing Faculty definition

Continuing Faculty member of bargaining unit" -- a Faculty member (member of the bargaining unit) who also was employed as a member of the bargaining unit for at least one full semester of the immediately preceding academic year; as distinct from a new hire, a full-time non-tenure track faculty member, a part-time faculty member or an administrator with faculty rank who becomes a member of the bargaining unit for the first time effective with, or during, the referenced academic year.
