Contemporary definition

Contemporary in this case means born after 1855.
Contemporary means a composer living in the second half of the 20th Century.
Contemporary means what is on „now‟, „today‟, „recently‟, „lately‟ or „in our time‟ and involves what is „new‟, „fashion‟, „trendy‟ and „popular‟. Therefore, I base my study on what I recently see on the canvasses of Turkish painters and what is trendy, popular or new. According to my searches on the field, the following picture is one of the most striking samples that could directly discourse what is contemporary in Turkish artistic scene. Besides, there is no need to analyse its discourse as it is titled as “Kontemporari Art” and clearly shows „what is contemporary art in Turkey‟.
