Contactless Technology definition

Contactless Technology means any technology which allows the transfer of Charge Data from a Chip Card or Mobile Device to a point of sale terminal on a contactless basis in respect of an In Person Charge. Covered Parties means any or all of your employees, agents, representatives, subcontractors, Processors, providers of your point of sale equipment or systems or payment processing solutions, and any other party to whom you may provide Cardmember Information access in accordance with this Agreement.
Contactless Technology means the technology identified as Visa payWave on accessible devices which allows the authorized representative to make a payment using the Visa Desjardins card at participating merchants for max- imum purchases between $50 and $150 depending on merchant specifications; the transaction is carried out by simply “waving” the card or an eligible mobile device in front of the accessible device, without having to sign a transaction slip or enter a Visa Desjardins PIN in an accessible device.
Contactless Technology means the technology identified as Visa payWave on accessible devices which allows the authorized representative to make a payment using the Visa Desjardins card at participating merchants for maximum purchases between $50 and $150 depending on merchant specifications; the transaction is carried out by simply “waving” the card or an eligible mobile device in front of the accessible device, without having to sign a transaction slip or enter a Visa Desjardins PIN in an accessible device.
