Consumer product means a chemically formulated product used by household and institutional consumers including, but not limited to, detergents; cleaning compounds; polishes; floor finishes; cosmetics; personal care products; home, lawn, and garden products; disinfectants; sanitizers; aerosol paints; and automotive specialty products; but does not include other paint products, furniture coatings, or architectural coatings. As used in this article, the term “consumer product” shall also refer to aerosol adhesives, including aerosol adhesives used for consumer, industrial, and commercial uses.
Consumer account means an account established by an individual primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.
Consumer Price Index means the CPIX as determined and gazetted from time to time by the South Bureau of Statistics.
Consumer Protection Act means the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008, together with its regulations, as amended from time to time;
Consumer debtor means a debtor in a consumer transaction.
The Consumer Price Index means the Consumer Price Index for Canada as published by Statistics Canada (1971 = 100) and hereinafter called the C.P.I.
Consumer loan means a loan made by a lender to a cus- tomer which is payable in installments or for which a finance charge is or may be imposed, and includes transactions pursuant to an open−end credit plan other than a seller credit card.
Consumer advocate means the consumer advocate referred to in Iowa Code chapter 475A.
Post-Consumer Waste means any product generated by a business or consumer which has served its intended end use, and which has been separated or diverted from solid waste for the purpose of recycling into a usable commodity or product, and which does not include post-industrial waste.
Consumer Loans means Loans to individuals for household, family and other personal expenditures (including United States and/or State-guaranteed student loans and extensions of credit pursuant to a credit card plan or debit card plan).
Consumer fireworks means fireworks devices that are designed to produce visible effects by combustion, that are required to comply with the construction, chemical composition, and labeling regulations promulgated by the United States consumer product safety commission under 16 CFR parts 1500 and 1507, and that are listed in APA standard 87-1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, or 3.5. Consumer fireworks does not include low-impact fireworks.

Consumer obligor means an obligor who is an individual and who incurred the obligation as part of a transaction entered into primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.
Consumer lease means a lease that a lessor regularly engaged in the business of leasing or selling makes to a lessee who is an individual and who takes under the lease primarily for a personal, family, or household purpose, if the total payments to be made under the lease contract, excluding payments for options to renew or buy, do not exceed $25,000.00.
Consumer Contract means an agreement between the Retailer and the Consumer that includes the supply of electricity and distribution services;
Related Consumer Action means a private action by or on behalf of one or more consumers or an enforcement action by another governmental agency brought against Respondent based on substantially the same facts as described in Section IV of this Consent Order.
Consumer goods means goods that are used or bought for use primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.
Consumer credit means credit offered or extended to a consumer primarily for personal, family, or household purposes.
Consumer report means any written, oral, or other communication of any information by a consumer reporting agency bearing on a consumer’s credit worthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living which is used or expected to be used or collected in whole or in part for the purpose of serving as a factor in establishing the consumer’s eligibility for a) credit or insurance to be used primarily for personal, family, or household purposes; b) employment purposes; or c) any other purpose authorized in the act.
Consumer transaction means a transaction in which (i) an individual incurs an obligation primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, (ii) a security interest secures the obligation, and (iii) the collateral is held or acquired primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. The term includes consumer-goods transactions.
Consumer-goods transaction means a consumer transaction in which:
Post-consumer material means a material or finished product that has served its intended use and has been discarded for disposal or recovery, having completed its life as a consumer item. Post consumer material is a part of the broader category of "recycled content."
Consumer reporting agency means any person that, for monetary fees, dues, or on a cooperative nonprofit basis, regularly engages in whole or in part in the practice of assembling or evaluating consumer credit information or other information concerning consumers for the purpose of furnishing consumer credit reports to third parties.
Australian Consumer Law means the Australian Consumer Law set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Consumer-owned utility means a municipal utility formed under Title 35 RCW, a public utility district formed under Title 54 RCW, an irrigation district formed under chap- ter 87.03 RCW, a cooperative formed under chapter 23.86 RCW, a mutual corporation or association formed under chapter 24.06 RCW, or port district within which an indus- trial district has been established as authorized by Title 53 RCW, that is engaged in the business of distributing electric- ity to more than one retail electric customer in the state.
Consumer Guarantee means a consumer guarantee applicable to this contract under the Australian Consumer Law, including any Express Warranty.
