Conservation Period definition

Conservation Period. As defined in section 4. A-10. Conserving Party: As defined in the preamble.
Conservation Period means the period of time specified in the Safe Harbour 138 Instrument as the period of time for which the safe harbour habitat must continue 139 to provide habitat for a particular species. 140 “listed species” means any species listed on the Species at Risk in Ontario List 141 under Ontario Regulation 230/08.

Examples of Conservation Period in a sentence

  • The time period beginning with and including the first irrigation following the final harvest date of the most recent crop harvested prior to the Start Date of the Conservation Period and ends on the final harvest date of the last Crop Season started within the Term of this Agreement.

  • On-Farm Efficiency Conservation – Conserving Party shall implement On-Farm Efficiency Conservation on the Participating Field during the Conservation Period.

  • The Conservation Period may be extended or shortened by a period of no more than sixty (60) days to accommodate crop harvest, upon the written request of Conserving Party and the written approval of IID, at the sole discretion of IID.

  • As provided in section 5 of this Agreement, if the Conservation Period is for a Crop Season lasting for one calendar year or less, the CDWR will be for that Crop Season.

  • Actual Delivered Water Reduction (ADWR): The actual reduction in Delivered Water during the Conservation Period relative to the Delivered Water Baseline that IID verifies and calculates for the Participating Field in accordance with Exhibit B.

  • The Measurement Period is used to calculate the Seasonal ADWR and the Baseline for Crop Seasons that begin prior to or end after the Conservation Period.

  • All or any portion of the Conservation Period within a Contract Year during which an allocation or apportionment program implemented pursuant to an Equitable Distribution Plan.

  • IID will calculate the CDWR for the Conservation Period within any Contract Year less than a full calendar year falling at the beginning or end of the Term of the Agreement as the CDWR pro- rated based on the equivalent volume of water to the portion of the Baseline calculated as applicable during the Conservation Period within that Contract Year divided by the total Baseline.

  • Delivered Water to the Participating Field throughout the Conservation Period shall be subtracted from the portion of the water volume reserved or caused to be reserved.

  • As provided in section 5 of this Agreement, if the Conservation Period is for more than one year, the CDWR will be calculated for each Contract Year falling within the Conservation Period, as an annual amount per acre on the Participating Field.

Related to Conservation Period

  • Operation Period means the period commencing from COD and ending on the Transfer Date;

  • Remediation Period has the meaning specified in Section 8.2(a);

  • CIC Protection Period means the two-year period beginning on the date of a Change in Control and ending on the day before the second annual anniversary of the date of the Change in Control.

  • Clean-Up Period has the meaning specified in Section 8.05.

  • Exploration Period means the period mentioned in Article 3 during which Exploration Operations may be carried out by the Contractor as provided in Article 3 hereof.
