Consecutive sentence definition
Consecutive sentence means the prison terms for two of more offenses are run one after the other. In Vermont, a consecutive sentence is determined by adding the minimum terms to arrive at an aggregate minimum to be served equal to the sum of all minimum terms and the maximum terms are added to arrive at an aggregate maximum equal to the sum of all maximum terms.
