Connected technology definition

Connected technology means any technology connected to the internet or similar digital networks, also known as the Internet of Things (IoT): physical objects (or groups of such objects) with sensors, processing ability, software, and other technologies that connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the internet or other communications networks.1 By 2050, there will be an estimated 24 billion interconnected devices in the world.2 These devices are set to enter each sphere of life: our bodies, homes, cities, workplaces, and industries.

  • Developed Technology means any Technology including, without limitation, any enhancements, substitutions or improvements to the Core Technology that is (a) discovered, developed or otherwise acquired by DURA pursuant to the terms of the Development Agreement or (b) otherwise acquired by or on behalf of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Corp. II during the term of the Development Agreement.
