Congregate Living definition

Congregate Living means those activities at structures such as dormitories, motels, nursing/rest homes, group homes, assisted living facilities, boarding houses. These structures typically have one or more amenities and/or activities that service the establishment and not typically an individual unit, such as common bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas and/or laundry facilities.

Examples of Congregate Living in a sentence

  • The Physician will visit you in your home, nursing or rehab facility, or Adult Congregate Living Facility in medically appropriate situations.

  • Zoning Board, MCAD Case No. 17WPR01243 (“MCAD Charge”) alleging the ZBA in issuing the Counseling Use Decision and Congregate Living Decision discriminated against her on the basis of Gender Identity (LGBTQ) and Disability (Recovering from Substance Abuse) in violation of M.G.L. c.
