Configurable definition

Configurable means that functionality can be obtained in the core product by simple configuration/setting changes through the GUI by authorized users. Changes do not affect the core code or require code changes.
Configurable means that installation-specific changes can be incorporated into the solution with the solution’s tools, including a rules engine, rather than modifying the solution’s program code.
