Concordat definition

Concordat means the (non legally enforceable) agreement entered into by the parties to set out the framework for the development of the Strategic Alliance which is superceded by the signing of this Agreement
Concordat means agreement.
Concordat has the meaning specified therefor in the recitals hereto. ---------

  • CCAA means the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada).

  • EUMA means the “SAP Delivered Support Agreement” which sets out the terms and conditions under which SAP provides support to End Users and which will be provided by SAP on a deal by deal basis.

  • Chapter 11 means Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.

  • Receivership means a proceeding in which a receiver is appointed.

  • Insolvency with respect to any Multiemployer Plan, the condition that such Plan is insolvent within the meaning of Section 4245 of ERISA.

  • insolvency practitioner means any receiver, administrator or liquidator appointed in respect of the Tenant;

  • WURA means the Winding-Up and Restructuring Act (Canada).

  • Biennium means the two year period of licensure beginning in an odd numbered year and ending in the next odd numbered year for the Registered Nurse and the two year period of licensure beginning in an even-numbered year and ending in the next even numbered year for the Licensed Practical Nurse.

  • Cadre means the strength of a service or a part of a service sanctioned as a separate unit.

  • Bankruptcy means, with respect to any Person, if such Person (i) makes an assignment for the benefit of creditors, (ii) files a voluntary petition in bankruptcy, (iii) is adjudged a bankrupt or insolvent, or has entered against it an order for relief, in any bankruptcy or insolvency proceedings, (iv) files a petition or answer seeking for itself any reorganization, arrangement, composition, readjustment, liquidation or similar relief under any statute, law or regulation, (v) files an answer or other pleading admitting or failing to contest the material allegations of a petition filed against it in any proceeding of this nature, (vi) seeks, consents to or acquiesces in the appointment of a trustee, receiver or liquidator of the Person or of all or any substantial part of its properties, or (vii) if 120 days after the commencement of any proceeding against the Person seeking reorganization, arrangement, composition, readjustment, liquidation or similar relief under any statute, law or regulation, if the proceeding has not been dismissed, or if within 90 days after the appointment without such Person’s consent or acquiescence of a trustee, receiver or liquidator of such Person or of all or any substantial part of its properties, the appointment is not vacated or stayed, or within 90 days after the expiration of any such stay, the appointment is not vacated. The foregoing definition of “Bankruptcy” is intended to replace and shall supersede and replace the definition of “Bankruptcy” set forth in Sections 18-101(1) and 18-304 of the Act.

  • Insolvency or Liquidation Proceeding means, with respect to any Person, any liquidation, dissolution or winding up of such Person, or any bankruptcy, reorganization, insolvency, receivership or similar proceeding with respect to such Person, whether voluntary or involuntary.

  • Federal Bankruptcy Code means the Bankruptcy Act of Title 11 of the United States Code, as amended from time to time.

  • Insolvency Official means, in respect of any company, a liquidator, provisional liquidator, administrator (whether appointed by the court or otherwise), administrative receiver, receiver or manager, nominee, supervisor, trustee in bankruptcy, conservator, guardian, the Viscount or other similar official in respect of such company or in respect of all (or substantially all) of the company's assets or in respect of any arrangement or composition with creditors or any equivalent or analogous officer under the law of any jurisdiction.

  • EU Insolvency Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2015/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015 on insolvency proceedings (recast).

  • Distressed municipality means a municipality that is qualified

  • Insolvency Act means the Insolvency Xxx 0000.

  • Dietitian or “licensed dietitian” means a person who maintains a license granted by the Iowa board of dietetic examiners.

  • CESA means the California Endangered Species Act (California Fish and Game Code, §§2050-2115.5) and all regulations promulgated pursuant to that Act.

  • CJA means the Courts of Justice Act, RSO 1990, c C-43, as amended;

  • Danish Bankruptcy Act means the Danish Bankruptcy Act (Consolidated Act No. 11 of 6 January 2014, as amended);

  • EMEA means the European Medicines Agency.

  • BIA means the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada).

  • IMRO means the Irish Music Rights Organisation CLG.

  • Bankruptcy Code means Title 11 of the United States Code entitled “Bankruptcy,” as now and hereafter in effect, or any successor statute.

  • Marihuana establishment means a marihuana grower, marihuana safety compliance facility, marihuana processor, marihuana microbusiness, marihuana retailer, marihuana secure transporter, or any other type of marihuana-related business licensed by the department.

  • Official Receiver means the Official Assignee appointed under the Bankruptcy Act (Cap. 20) and includes the deputy of any such Official Assignee and any person appointed as Assistant Official Assignee;
