Concerning Behaviour definition

Concerning Behaviour means any behaviour that, while not indicative of a clear immediate threat, gives rise to a reasonable apprehension that the Student may engage in conduct harmful to him- or herself or to others, including but not limited to:

  • Concerning means relating to, referring to, describing, evidencing or constituting.

  • Deputation means a person or group of persons who wish to appear personally before the council or a committee of the council in order to address the council or committee of the council;

  • Diversity means variety among individuals. Diversity includes, for example, variations in socio-economic status, race, developmental level, ethnicity, gender, language, learning styles, culture, abilities, age, interests, and/or personality.

  • Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:

  • Serious assault means an act that constitutes a felony violation of chapter XI of the Michigan penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.81 to 750.90h, or that constitutes an assault and infliction of serious or aggravated injury under section 81a of the Michigan penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.81a.
