compulsory treatment which means the treatment of a person admitted to a residential treatment facility or residential institution or subject to a supervised treatment order in Part 8.

  • Day treatment means specialized treatment that is provided to:

  • Maltreatment means the neglect, abuse, or financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

  • Thermal treatment means the treatment of hazardous waste in a device which uses elevated temperatures as the primary means to change the chemical, physical, or biological character or composition of the hazardous waste. Examples of thermal treatment processes are incineration, molten salt, pyrolysis, calcination, wet air oxidation, and microwave discharge. (See also “incinerator” and “open burning”.)

  • Secondary treatment means treatment of urban waste water by a process generally involving biological treatment with a secondary settlement or other process in which the requirements established in Table 1 in Schedule 3 are respected;

  • General Treatment means treatment (including provision of goods and services) that is intended to manage or prevent a disease, injury or condition and is not “hospital treatment”.
