Component Purchase Contract definition
Component Purchase Contract means a Purchase Contract, in global form and attached to a Global Unit, that (a) shall evidence the number of Purchase Contracts specified therein that are components of the Units evidenced by such Global Unit, (b) shall be registered on the Security Register in the name of the Purchase Contract Agent, as attorney-in-fact of holder(s) of the Units of which such Purchase Contract forms a part, and (c) shall be held by the Purchase Contract Agent as attorney-in-fact of such holder(s), together with such Global Unit, as custodian of such Global Unit for the Depositary.

Component Purchase Contract means a Purchase Contract, in global form and attached to a Global tMEDS, that (a) shall evidence the number of Purchase Contracts specified therein that are components of the tMEDS evidenced by such Global tMEDS, (b) shall be registered on the Security Register in the name of the Purchase Contract Agent, as attorney-in-fact for holder(s) of the tMEDS of which such Purchase Contract forms a part, and (c) shall be held by the Purchase Contract Agent, as attorney-in-fact for holder(s), together with such Global tMEDS, as custodian of such Global tMEDS for the Depositary.
Examples of Component Purchase Contract in a sentence
Following a valid exercise of separation rights by a Holder of Global Units, the Purchase Contract Agent shall register (x) a decrease in the number of Units represented by the Global Unit and the number of Purchase Contracts represented by the Component Purchase Contract attached to the Global Unit as Attachment 3, as set forth in Schedule A to each such attachment, and (y) a corresponding increase in the number of Purchase Contracts represented by the Global Purchase Contract.
