Complaint date definition
Complaint date means the date on which a complaint is filed by the superintendent of insurance seeking the liquidation of an insurer, if the complaint results in an order of liquidation. If the insurer is placed in rehabilitation, which rehabilitation is later converted to liquidation, the "complaint date" is the date on which the original complaint seeking rehabilitation was filed.
